weeeelll, you asked so i’ll answer.
i’ve always thought she was annoying since her first appearance, but then Moffat decided to devote so much time to her and that just made my hatred grow. she’s a marysue. we’re supposed to believe that she can do everything the Doctor does (but sexily! ooo) but then she also wields guns and doesn’t care about anyone, and the Doctor never says anything to her about that despite him hating those traits in other people. and these two are supposed to be romantically involved? there’s no chemistry, not to mention she looks old enough to be his mother. the actors literally have a 20 year age difference, and it shows both in the way they interact and just the way they look.
basically, i see her as this really weak character who keeps being thrust on us, like some sort of “strong female character” trope. i’ve been cheering for that episode where the Doctor sends her off to her death.
