DIY Spell and Potion Book Tutorial from Better After. This is a really good tutorial using plastic toys, a glue gun, cardstock, paper towels etc… This DIY is based on a tutorial by SEEING THINGS - my favorite Halloween Blog that had great printables and tutorials and is now DEAD & GONE. This is why if I see a printable I like, I don’t wait until later to download it.

I decided on Friday that I really wanted some marquee letters, but vintage and even wooden ones are still hella expensive, so I used this diy tutorial. The only differences: I used 3 pieces of  poster board with a grid for easier cutting, I got two boxes of lights from Target for $10 each, I used the coin method, and I didn’t used silver spray paint. Grand total: $45.

This must be the most beautiful DIY tutorial I have ever seen. And it so happens to be in style of this weekend. Found on Ulicam, a very nice blog by Ulrika Kestere, photographer and illustrator. For the whole tutorial and lot’s of inspiration, click here.

Take an old sweater. Cut a slit in along the shoulder down about 7”. Fold over raw edge and sew in place. Sew a piece of ribbon about 15” long to one side of neckline and another ribbon to the other side of the neckline. Tie together!

that’s cute, but i’d be too afraid to cut into a sweater. XD
