haven’t seen The Hobbit yet…
gotta wait til next weekend to see it with my mom. but reading through some of these reviews of it i’m just laughing really hard because i know they’re trying to say bad things about it, but it’s just making it sound perfectly true to the book:
- “Nearly three hours, and the story has progressed only slightly.”
- “To its own narrative detriment, “The Hobbit” works hard to lay the framework for what will follow.”
- “Not all the scenes are necessary […] But it’s an enjoyable experience.”
lol have they even read the book because that is exactly how i remember it beginning.
so thanks to this handy dandy flowchart, i just realized that one of the dwarves in The Hobbit actually has an axe sticking out of his head…
